About Us
A.C.T., Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, founded in 2002. The agency, based in New York, provides trained adult mentors for justice-involved youth. In addition, we offer an array of other evidence based - best practice programs that support healthy development of children, adolescents and adults.
A.C.T. currently offers programs and services to young people in New York City, Rockland, Nassau and Westchester.
To date we have served over 5,600 children and teens.
We currently have 110 dedicated volunteers, many of whom are educators, business owners, medical professionals and governmental officials.
(All volunteers are background checked and trained).
