A.C.T., Inc. - Adults Caring for Teens, is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, founded in 2002. The agency, based in New York, provides trained adult mentors for at-risk youth between 5 and 21 years of age. In addition, we offer an array of other evidence based - best practice programs that support healthy development of children and adolescents.
A.C.T. currently offers programs and services to young people in New York City and the Lower Hudson Valley.
To date we have served over 5,500 children and teens.
We currently have 57 dedicated volunteers.
(All volunteers are background checked and trained).
A.C.T., Inc. has provided, and continues offer, programs and services for numerous agencies, including but not limited to:
